Are you able to be happy for others when something good happens for them and not for you? When someone gets the job you want, the relationship you want, the car you want or the life you want, do you secretly hate on them? Or do you wish them well and rejoice with them? Today’s Daily Quote is from Robert A. Heinlein, an American writer. He said the following:
One of the sanest, surest, and most generous joys of life comes from being happy over the good fortune of others.
One of the tips to getting what you want is to be happy for others when they get what you say you want and don’t yet have. I am a firm believer in the 3-Fold Law. What we put out comes back to us three times over, whether it’s good or bad. If we wish good on someone, somewhere good comes to us three times what we wished on that person. If we wished bad on someone, you can bet bad is coming down the pike towards us. Just for that reason alone, we all may want to work on being joyful for those around us.
For today, let’s all work on being happy when we see someone with what we want. Let’s not hate on them, or call them names, or wonder how they got it. Let’s just rejoice in the fact that we know it’s possible. If they have it, we can have it too! It’s not like we’re excluded from some secret club where everyone else on the planet gets what they want. We all belong to the same Universe. We all have the same ability to manifest and create. Sometimes waiting is the hardest part. However, while you’re waiting, keep creating, keep visualizing and keep knowing that what you want is coming to you in the best way and best speed for you personally.
Join me in being happy for others for every good thing they have in their lives. Be happy that they have that relationship or that car or that house or that job or that money or whatever it is that you feel you don’t have. Those feelings of joy and happiness for that person will send a very clear signal to the Universe saying, “May I please have some of that?”. It also just flat out feels better than being angry or jealous. Try it! You will like it.
